We will be doing a Nature Notes Workshop on 4/22 at Helms. We'll be giving out free field notes booklets to record your experiences at the all-day event. Then on 4/23 Narrated Objects will have a collection of books, stickers, and books for sale by local artists at the Garland's Block Party.
On Sat., April 15, 10 a.m.–2 p.m., we will be at Gloria Molina Grand Park for Easy Mornings. We will have our board games to play and invite you to make your own!
Then Sun., April 16, 11 a.m.–4 p.m., join us as we celebrate USC Pacific Asian Museum's 2023 Teen Ambassadors with a fun day of activities for Teen Takeover @PAM Day.
Join us in the courtyard for Free 2nd Sunday@PAM: Celebrate the Silk Road festivities in Pasadena! We will be there from 12–4 p.m. creating illustrated maps. Or visit us in North Hollywood where we will be popping up during The Garland's Fall Block Party from 2–5 p.m.

In the heart of HiFi, the Mabuhay Festival will bring our diverse L.A. Filipino community together and highlight Filipino small businesses, community organizations, and performers.
Narrated Objects will be popping up at the event with our books and coloring pages, as well as collecting food-related stories from the FilAm community.

There will be fern planting, nature hikes, and an Eco-Village fair with our books, arts & crafts, food, and fun. Our good friends from Friends of Griffith Park will be selling our ode to our favorite park resident, We Heart P-22, as well as our new book, We Heart L.A. Parks, and giving away P-22 temporary tattoos. Council District 4 team will be handing out coloring pages from our books for kids of all ages to enjoy!

We're joining the L.A. Conservancy for #GriffithPark125: a *free* parkwide exploration
commemorating Griffith Park's 125th anniversary. Learn more about the significant structures, sites, and stories of Griffith Park from more than two dozen organizations uniting to tell the park's extraordinary history.
Volunteer educators from the L.A. Conservancy and different partnering organizations will be dispersed throughout Griffith Park to share the stories of specific sites. No reservations are required; you are free to roam the park at will, choosing whatever places interest you most to visit.
Join us for a special afternoon celebrating the opening of the newly redesigned Crossroads: Exploring the Silk Road gallery! The gallery includes an interactive scroll from Narrated Objects that we invite visitors to contribute their travel stories and drawings to.
Participate in an outdoor scroll-making activity with us from 12 to 4 p.m. to prep your contribution, and also enjoy live storytelling, and music and dance performances inspired by the diverse cultures connected through the ancient trade route.

During this one-hour online workshop, L.A.fashion designer Carol Young of Undesigned will offer tips and demonstrate techniques for how to elevate an outfit so that it’s perfect for a party, as well as share designs she’s made for special occasions.
